This little Italian place is a hidden gem for small towns, and I highly recommend it if you're driving to the coast! I'm so glad I found it and stopped by. It has a relaxed wine-bar vibe with an Italian feel, which was perfect and refreshing after a long drive. They offer a great selection of wines, and the bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful in choosing wines that paired well with my meal. The restaurant specializes in pastas and pizzas. Based on reviews, I originally planned to try their pizza, but my server convinced me to go with a pasta dish instead. Overall, the pasta was okay--good but not incredible. I have a feeling the pizza would have been better, but I'm still glad I gave the pasta a try, and it paired nicely with the wine. For me, atmosphere is just as important as food, if not more, because I want a place where I can relax, have a good time, and chat with the staff. This restaurant definitely delivers on that front. It's almost a five-star experience for me, but I'll give it a four because the pasta didn't quite wow me. One downside, especially for business travelers, is that they don't accept American Express, which was a significant inconvenience. I had to use my personal card, which added unnecessary stress. I really hope they can address this in the future. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and would love to stop by every time I'm passing through!

I've only been here once but I enjoyed the food. I got the mac and cheese with a cup of clam chowder on the side. The mac and cheese was alright, nothing to write home about but it was incredibly hot so it took some time to eat since I needed to let it cool down first. The clam chowder was delicious! It was some of the best I've had and it tasted so fresh. I would definitely go back just for the clam chowder. The service was good and we ate outside since it was nice out. There's lots of seating both inside and outside. The bathroom was small but clean, it was a little hard to find at first though so make sure you ask if you can't find it. It was a little loud inside and there was a long wait. The prices were also a little higher than I was expecting, but I guess being that this is a more classy place in a tourist area that kind of makes sense.

My wife and I love coming here for date night! You have to try the seared tuna appetizer it's never enough you'll always want more! Everything on the menu is delicious! And the staff is amazing! Plus it has a really good wine selection.

We love Restobar. The food (especially pizza) is amazing. The employees keep us coming back. This is our favorite place on Bay Street. You won't be disappointed. Dan S

It doesn't get much better than this! We drive to Florence from Eugene just for dinner at Restobar! The staff is fantastic. Rich is such a personable, attentive server & Gideon makes a mean Blueberry Squeeze martini! They're all great though:) The food though! OH.My.Gosh... whatever you have will be nothing short of amazing. Garlic cheesey bread...Yes! Scallops Antica... packed with flavor. Crab ravioli? Oh heck ya! The crab melt open faced sandwich... mouth watering! The pizza is great too! If you get the chance to try this place once, you'll definitely go back! Enjoy!

The hostess found a table for us and the waitress found us as quickly as she could. The place was packed on a Wednesday night. My husband ordered clam chowder and we shared a plate of lasagna. Mama Mia it was a treat for the taste buds and the tummy. A gentleman showed us his pizza that he ordered to go. Next time, pizza we will try some pizza. There are a lot of wonderful restaurants on this street, but you won't be disappointed if you choose 1285 Restobar

1285 Restobar had exceptionally good pasta. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it came with a large side salad as well. Everything was made to perfection - the pasta sauce was fresh and full of flavor and the salad was a nice addition of veggies. I'd highly recommend this spot for people looking for a good meal in a cozy setting.

Excellent establishment. We enjoyed a great meal here. I ordered a couple of Tito's martini's(able) and the grilled salmon. My friends ordered pizza and scallops. Each also enjoyed their desserts. The waitstaff was attentive and very well versed in the menu offerings. A really nice dining experience.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was a busy time but I still felt attended to and not rushed. My server helped me narrow my choice to the Parmesan Crusted Halibut with a lobster sauce. The halibut was perfect. The sauce was good, just a little spicy for my liking which I was not aware of when I ordered. The veggies as a side were simply done and delicious! Clam chowder had an herby taste which was a nice alteration from the typical chowders out there. Had the chocolate cake to go and that barely made it another hour before it was gone!

Cool place for drinks in Florence. We played few games too. Not that many good options tho
